Briter Bridges' Intelligence Platform

PRESS RELEASE

Briter Bridges launches business intelligence platform

On May 27th, 2020, Briter Bridges announces the launch of its business Intelligence platform (public BETA), after building one of the largest visual libraries illustrating the state of innovation across underserved markets, with a particular focus on Africa. The tool aims at creating a knowledge-as-a-service hub for information on these geographies, which will be particularly built for, and dedicated to researchers, business people, and investors.

Briter was founded in October 2018 with the intention of portraying the ‘brighter’ side of regions that lack the adequate supply and quality of information that would be needed to showcase the opportunities they offer for business, creativity, investment, and leisure. Knowledge represents the bridge between untapped potential and opportunities. To this day, Briter has strived to provide quality information by building an extensive network of knowledge partners and tracking trends in business, finance, and technology from Casablanca to Colombo and Maputo, and remains committed to scouting and showcasing emerging talents and businesses across these markets. The pulsating core of Briter's mission is to drive more interest towards the markets we generate information on, where interest translates into more business, entrepreneurship, investment, creativity, and tourism.

Briter Intelligence (BI), our brand new data and analytics platform, is set to increase our research and processing capabilities and is aimed at:

  1. Centralising data collection and crowdsourcing;

  2. Digitising our research and migrating our databases onto a cloud-based, interactive, customisable, and real-time search engine;

  3. Making more data points publicly available through a live dashboard that portrays the ‘state of ecosystem’ across all our target geographies, sectors, and for a multiplicity of stakeholders;

  4. Allowing users, from founders to investors, to crowdsource information and use BI as an echo chamber, deal flow tool, and ecosystem relations management (ERM) platform;

  5. Becoming one of the key repositories for information on business and investment opportunities across underserved markets.

  6. Serving as go-to knowledge-as-a-service platform for all things business, technology, and investment across underserved markets.

The platform is out now as a public BETA and the team will be finalising the data migration over the course of the coming weeks.

Who is Briter Intelligence for?

Briter has provided market insights to a wide range of organisations since its inception, from corporates to academia, VC funds, and development finance institutions. Since our mission lies in the provision of analytical information about opportunities across underserved markets, this has been the common denominator of our interactions with the ecosystem. Briter Intelligence is looking to streamline and optimise the supply and structuring of our research to better serve the entire ecosystem.
